I joined Digby Morgan in September 2004 and haven’t really had time to sit still and catch my breath - since starting as an Associate in the HR Resourcing division, just over two years later I find myself as a Consultant in the City division. It’s been a real roller coaster of a ride, and one that has been thoroughly enjoyable. Along the way I’ve managed an advertising campaign for the Football Association, had lunch with a Global Head of HR, spent a day racing yachts with clients, and built up relationships with any number of interesting people. It’s not all sweetness and light though - if there’s one thing I’ve learnt it’s that people are inherently unpredictable, so you can always rely on them to do something completely and totally unexpected, normally at just about the time you’re going to place them in a new role. However, when I look back on my time here, it’s the excitement and variety of all these situations that I’ve enjoyed the most, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. |
