Role Description

With ambitious growth and the opening of new “hubs” across Europe, the airline now needs a commercially driven professional to take on the challenge of this vital role.

Managing a key area of spend, you will take responsibility for the full range of sourcing activities: from analysing the market, constructing contracts and managing suppliers to delivering continuous improvement across all processes.

Highly motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you must have proven experience of procuring goods and services in one of the following areas: Marketing, IT, Facilities, HR, Corporate Services, Operational Service Contracts or Finance.

Responsibilities

Reporting to: Procurement Manager

• Develop supply strategies within your allocated area of Purchasing.
• Identify and select suppliers.
• Manage the sourcing, tender process and negotiation of contracts.
• Own and manage supplier relationships, ensuring that they achieve best value.
• Deliver processes, tools and expertise to support line management in achieving continuous improvement throughout the business.
• Support supplier management policies to ensure consistent practice and develop strong supplier relationships.
• Review markets and supply chains to keep the airline at the forefront of developments.
• Conduct contract reviews to monitor supplier conformance.
