Originally operated services to and from its Luton Airport base, but the airline has seized the opportunity of the European Single Aviation market, to open new "hubs" across Europe.

In this role you will be part of the small, specialist team responsible for the programme, working closely with international, national and local managers to ensure gets the agreements, prices and services it needs.
The business has an impressive record in this respect and you’ll have every opportunity to make your mark, negotiating everything from baggage handling and apron services to diversion contracts and coaching.
Contract drafting and management will also be important elements of your role: continually working to maximise quality and value throughout the life cycle, as the business expands.
Key to your success in all this will be your ability to influence local managers across Europe – championing group policy and collective buying power, whilst delivering flexible solutions and services on the ground.
Responsibilities
Reporting to: Airport Development Manager
You'll work as part of the contract management team to support the Airport Development Manager in contract negotiation and contract drafting for all airports and ground handling services suppliers. This will involve creating contracts that maximise value, deliver lowest costs and meet operational requirements.
- Support the Airport Development Managers in airport contract negotiations.
- Negotiate contracts and service levels that meet operational and commercial requirements (driving costs down and improving standards) with all airport related third party suppliers, including ground handling, cleaning, wheelchair provision, baggage screening, baggage delivery, diversion contracts and coaching.
- Draft contracts and log them in the database.
- Create and maintain a contract database detailing commercial terms, expiry dates and key contacts.
- Manage and maximise budget for a portfolio of suppliers.
- Ensure all stake holders are briefed on the contractual terms pertinent to them.
- Provide contractual and negotiation support to the General Managers and Regional Airport Managers.

Requirements
- 'A' levels or equivalent education.
- Strong planning, influencing and presentation skills.
- Experience of negotiating and drafting contracts.
- A strong background in a contracting or airport operations environment.
- The ability to build and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships.
