Challenge
To deliver a full international careers section that reflects the branding of the existing Smiths Aerospace corporate website. The JobPositive solution was chosen to replace a more static site with fewer vacancies that were not updated and an email application form.
Solution
A full screen site with a design that has a people bias and content that covers all the locations and divisions with Smiths Aerospace. The site is heavily trafficked and six people were placed from it within the first month of operation.

Challenge
To create a recruitment section that slotted into the corporate website developed by our sister company ActPositive for Mitsubishi Corporation in Europe and the Middle East. The site is aimed at a wide range of nationalities and features vacancies listed in multiple languages.
Solution
A fully integrated site that sits within the main design of www.mitsubishi-corp.com — the company has received a high number of registrations for future vacancies since the site went live at the end of 2002.

Challenge
To create and integrate a full internal jobs system for the Smiths Group globally within three months. To add to the challenge, the company has diverse IT systems and Intranets worldwide and also wanted to give users access from home via the Internet.
Solution
The site was created as a secure Internet area to timescale (and budget). It was then promoted with a multilingual email shot to 16,000 of the 38,000 Smiths staff. The site, which can be seen by employees across the globe, is currently being updated with increased content.

To create a website aimed at a wide range of candidates - from general management roles through to drivers and technicians. Globally the company uses a standardised web format and our goal was to match the look and feel of the strong Linde Gas branding.
Solution
A full screen site with a strong emphasis on the vacancies themselves. These are supported by more general information about working for this major global corporate business.

Challenge
To deliver a recruitment site for graduates and modern apprentices that promotes Smiths vacancies by being independent and impartial and offering a wide range of advice and information.
Solution
A self contained website under the brand "whatsnext4u.com". The brand was promoted in advertisements and online at generic recruitment sites. The site itself, promotes Smiths but also answers common questions for young job entrants. In addition a credit card sized CD-ROM is sent to all users who register with the site.

To create a second generation website for the recruitment consultancy abrs. The site would need to be fast to download and flexible with easy to use navigation. It should be targeted at both clients and candidates.
Solution
Two sites. Behind the gateway page lie two sites - one aimed at clients; the other at candidates. They share some common content but have separate tab-based navigation.
